The Permanent Representative of Libya to UNESCO, Dr. Hafiz Al-Ouldah, presented Monday afternoon, his credentials to the Director-General of UNESCO, Audrey Azoulay, under the organization's protocol.

The Libyan delegate discussed with the organization's head following the ceremony, the role the UNESCO could play in supporting heritage and education in Libya.

They reviewed the possibility of cooperation in implementing specific programs, primarily, planned projects and distance/online classes.

Discussions also highlighted the situation in Libya and other topics, such as combating hate speech on the media and social platforms.
