The CEO of the Algerian Sonatrach oil company, Toufik Hakkar, has stated that the company is preparing to resume its activities and suspended oil projects in Libya.
“Sonatrach is working with its partners in Libya to create safety and secured return to its workers and equipment," Hakkar clarified in an interview with AL24 News, adding that they are planning to visit Libya before the end of next February to organize the return.
He also outlined the important investments in the field of oil and gas exploration that the company made in Libya, saying they will not leave these explorations without development.
