The Algerian President Abdelmajid Tebboune isn't going to attend Paris Conference on Libya on Friday because the situation doesn't permit him to personally attend, Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra said.

Lamamra told reporters on Wednesday that Algeria will be represented at the Paris Conference because Libyans want it to take par, but he didn't name the official who will travel to France for the event.

The Paris Conference comes as Algeria and France are in controversial dispute regarding Macron's statements described by Algerians as "offensive" and led to the withdrawal of Algerian ambassador from Paris for consultation
