Algerian Prime Minister, Noureddine Bedoui reaffirmed on Sunday his country's support for the regional and international peace efforts in Libya, through pursuing a comprehensive dialogue and reconciliation process.

During his participation in the seventh session of the Tokyo Conference on African Development, Bedoui said, "Algeria is working to promote peace in Libya by bringing the Libyan parties closer together in order to reach a permanent political settlement to end the crisis in Libya".

He added that support for this approach is essential, in view of the threats to security and stability in the region.
