Algeria is set to host a consultative ministerial meeting on Monday, with neighbouring countries of Libya, along with the participation of the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the United Nations (UN) envoy to Libya Jan Kubis and the Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Najla Al-Manqoush.

The media office of the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that Minister Othman Al-Jarandi will participate in the meeting to discuss with his Libyan counterpart the land borders between both countries, along with various other bilateral issues.

The Algerian Foreign Minister, Ramtane Lamamra announced that the two-day meeting would discuss the prospects for the political process to resolve the Libyan crisis under the auspices of the UN and the contribution of countries in the region through the ministerial meeting.
