Libya’s delegate to the United Nations Taher Al-Sunni, confirmed that the Libyan Mission has submitted an official request to press the Security Council (SC) to hold a hearing this month with the Sanctions Committee and a team of experts, on the Libyan situation.

Al-Sunni explained in a tweet that the request included addressing the countries involved in the violation of the arms embargo, which has contributed to supporting the aggression against Tripoli since April of last year.
