The President of the Presidential Council (PC), Fayez Al-Sarraj, expressed his deep felt pride in the righteous stance of the people of Southern Libya in their rejection of military rule and for denouncing the barbaric aggression waged by Haftar against the capital.
Al-Sarraj in a statement on Saturday, addressed the people of the south, in response to statements issued by them rejecting military rule, describing them as people of great insight who seek peace and security, calling them the true patrons of stability throughout the country.
He went on to indicate that the PC has placed the South amongst its priorities, having set aside ‘above average’ financial arrangements aimed at development of its regions even prior to the onslaught of aggression on Tripoli.
