The Chairman of the Government of National Accord (GNA) Fayez Al-Sarraj has confirmed his participation in the 43rd session of the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC), which is due to begin on February 24 and concludes on March 20.

The Information Office of the GNA has announced that Al-Sarraj will take an active part in the session in Geneva.

The Human Rights session is due to cover the latest developments in the Libyan crisis and cover many aspects relating to the breach of human rights, many of such violations have been documented regarding the attack on civilians mainly in Tripoli, but also the areas held by Haftar and the effect on the lives, rights and freedom of the citizens in those areas.
