The Head of the Presidential Council (PC), Fayez Al-Sarraj held discussions, during his visit to Istanbul, with the American Ambassador to Turkey, David Satterfield on methods to expand the strategic partnership between the United States and Libya on the combat of terrorism, amongst other issues.
The two sides stressed the necessity to hasten the resumption of oil production and export under the sole management of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), under the management and supervision of the Government of National Accord (GNA).
According to the Media Office of the PC, Al-Sarraj and Satterfield also discussed methods on moving forward in the matter of resolving the present Libyan crisis within the framework of the United Nations Security Council resolution and the outcome of the Berlin Conference.
