The French Foreign Minister, Jean-Yves Le Drian, in a telephone call with the head of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, stressed the need to stop all hostilities in Libya and to revive the outcome of the Berlin Conference, putting an end to foreign interference.

Le Drian stressed the need to resume negotiations by the Military Committee 5 + 5, in order to reach agreement for the signing of a ceasefire between the relevant Libyan parties on the same basis as the draft prepared last February in Geneva, under the auspices of the United Nations.
