The Head of the Presidential Council (PC), Fayez Al-Sarraj, held discussions with the Ambassador to the European Union (EU), Alan Bugeja on the issue of illegal immigration and methods to support the EU in facing the repercussions of the difficulties posed by the situation.
During the meeting, which was held on Sunday in Tripoli, Bugeja reaffirmed the EU’s support for the initiative, which Al-Sarraj announced on August 21 regarding a cease-fire to achieve security and peace in Libya.
For his part, Al-Sarraj complimented the EU’s efforts to support the democratic transition in Libya, stressing the need for continual support in dealing with the situation in the country.
