First Deputy Prime Minister, Hussein Al-Qatrani , has stressed the European Union (EU)’s important role in Libya's stability and development and pushing the peace process forward.

This came during his meeting with the Ambassador of the European Union to Libya, Jose Sabadell, during which he stressed that the peace of Libya will reflect positively on the countries of Europe, given the location of Libya, which is considered a starting point for illegal immigration.

Both sides discussed the current Libyan political developments and ways to reach a fair electoral process that includes all Libyan parties.
