Acting Speaker of the House of Representative (HoR) Fawzi Al-Nuwairi and Adviser to the UN Secretary-General, Stephanie Williams, stressed the need to work on all political, constitutional and security tracks in parallel to create the appropriate conditions for holding free and fair elections.
HoR Spokesman Abdullah Blihaq said the two sides reviewed the unfolding situation on the ground at all levels, foremost of which were the political and security fronts.
According to Blihaq, the meeting also discussed the possible UN mission's support and its role in creating the appropriate atmosphere for holding fair elections and supporting efforts for achieving security and stability in the country.
