The head of the High Council of State (HCS), Khaled Al-Mishri, accompanied by his first deputy, Masoud Obaid, and the committee for preparing the constitutional basis formed by the HCS, have met with a number of members of the Constitution Drafting Assembly.
The meeting discussed the latest findings of the committees of the HCS and the House of Representatives in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, regarding the constitutional path, which would pave the way for agreeing on a specific date for the elections as soon as possible.
The members of the Constitution Drafting Assembly reviewed the articles of the draft constitution, stressing the need to preserve the draft constitution.
