The head of the High Council of State (HCS), Khaled Al-Mishri, held a meeting on Sunday, with a delegation from the National Authority of Notables and Sheikhs of the Eastern Region at the HCS headquarters in the capital, Tripoli.

The meeting, which took place in the presence of the second deputy, Omar Bushah, the rapporteur of the HCS, Saeed Kula and the HCS member, Khaled Al-Mira, discussed the importance of holding the elections and creating the appropriate conditions for them, including the file of national reconciliation.

For his part, Al-Mishri affirmed the council’s keenness to hold the elections on time, stressing the importance of unifying all Libyans to end the state of division and to build a state in which everyone participates without exclusion or marginalization.
