The head of the High Council of State (HCS), Khaled Al-Mishri, stressed on Friday, the HCS position regarding the current political deadlock and its vision to get out of it by organizing elections based on a constitutional and legal ground.

This came during his meeting with the French Special Envoy to Libya, Paul Soler accompanied by the French Ambassador to Libya, Beatrice de Helen, at the headquarters of the HCS in Tripoli, according to the HCS media office.

For his part, Soler briefed Al-Mishri on the results of the meetings held in Tunisia, especially the meetings of the International Working Group on Libya, in which France participated, stressing his country's support for the efforts made to end work on the constitutional track, in order to reach the elections as soon as possible.
