The head of the High Council of State (HCS), Khaled Al-Mishri, has met with the British Ambassador to Libya, Caroline Hurndall, to discuss reaching an agreed constitutional basis and electoral laws that lead to fair elections, meet the aspirations of Libyans, and achieve stability.
In a separate meeting, Al-Mishri discussed with the Council’s Constitutional Base Preparation Committee the findings of the House of Representatives and HCS committees in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, regarding the constitutional process in preparation for agreeing on a specific date for the elections as soon as possible.
