Minister of Foreign Affairs, Najla Al-Manqoush, directed the temporary suspension of dispatchment of staff abroad until all previous decisions and measures taken in their regard are verified.

During her meeting with the Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs Department at the ministry, Al-Manqous stressed the need to expedite communication with the Medical Insurance Authority to complete the health insurance project for the ministry’s employees at home, according to the media office of the Ministry of Health of the Government of National Unity.

Al-Manqoush has recently met with the head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak,  and discussed some recommendations of the bureau to reform the work of the ministry, including reducing the large number of employees dispatched abroad, rectifying their conditions, closing some diplomatic missions abroad, and other measures that the  Audit Bureau considered  a window for corruption and squandering of public money.
