The Libyan Foreign Minister, Najla Al-Manqoush, along with her American counterpart, Anthony Blinken, have stressed the need to hold the national elections on time in December.

This came in a telephone conversation between Al-Manqoush and Blinken, according to what was reported by the US State Department, where they both stressed the necessity for the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement signed on October 23, particularly the immediate withdrawal of all foreign forces and mercenaries from Libya.

The US Secretary of State Blinken stated that the United States is fully committed to advancing diplomatic engagement to enhance international efforts to support progress in Libya.
