The Libyan Foreign Minister, Najla Al-Mangoush, has said that the situation in Libya is now better than recent years, adding in a meeting with Nicaragua's Foreign Minister in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly's 77th session that she welcomes the return of diplomatic representation between the two countries and expressed readiness for commercial cooperation, especially in energy field.

The two sides also talked about bilateral relations and more cooperation in the best interest of both countries as Nicaragua's Foreign Minister hailed the relations with Libya, which he said has potential for attracting investment and trade.
