Al-Haddad reviews reconstruction of momentum at Libyan-Tunisian border

The Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Al-Haddad, met on Tuesday with members of the Libyan-Tunisian Joint Committee assigned to oversee the reconstruction of the monument at the joint land border.

The meeting convened in the presence of the Director of the Defence Minister's office, Brigadier General Jibril Shteiwi, the Tunisian Ambassador to Libya, Lassaad Al-Ajili, and the Director of the Land Borders of the Tunisian National Guard, Brigadier General Caesar Safta, representing the Tunisian Ministry of Interior.

The session was dedicated to following up on the progress achieved towards rebuilding the monument and the recommendations reached by the committee.

It is noteworthy that the joint committee convened its first meeting on March 12 to 16, while a second meeting took place between 19-22 of the same month in the capital, Tripoli.
