Al-Ahly Benghazi on Thursday lost to Algerian Wefaq ES Setif 1-0, in the last round of the African Confederation Cup group stage ending their chances to qualify for the quarter-finals of the competition.
ES Setif got their goal in the 3rd minute after Ali Merai of Al-Ahly Benghazi shot the ball at his team's end by mistake.
Al-Ahly Benghazi finished last in the group stage with 7 points, and ES Setif also bid farewell to the tournament by coming in third place with 8 points.
