The Head of the Airports Authority, Mohamed Beit Al-Mal has called the companies contracted by the Authority to carry out maintenance work at Mitiga airport to redouble efforts towards an expeditious conclusion of the project.

Beit Al-Mal stressed in an inspection visit to the working sites the need to resume flights from the airport by mid-December at the latest.

His visit was preceded by a visit by the Minister of Transport, Milad Maatouq who also emphasized the need to reopen the airport as soon as possible.
