The Libyan Army Spokesman, Colonel Mohammed Ganunu, said on Friday that the Libyan Air Force carried out four major air strikes on the Al-Wattiya Military Base.

Ganunu added that the Air Force targeted not only equipment, but also concentrated groups of Haftar militias, in and around the vicinity of the air base. Media sources confirmed that five members of the militias were killed and four others wounded during the raid.

Ganunu added that he Air Force destroyed fuel tankers in the Tenenai area, south of Bani Walid, which were en route to supply Haftar’s militias in southern Tripoli.
