A security force from the Law Enforcement Department has managed to return a plot of land located near the tourist area of Selene in Khums city to its rightful owner after being denied his property for years.

Around seven years ago, a group of outlaws encroached on the land and divided it into sections for sale or setting up tourist projects.

The ground situates in the Wadi Manouk, known as Sania Al-Maqroun, near the Roman villa of Selene in Khums east of Tripoli.

The Interior Ministry said the operation was carried out upon the attorney general's orders, confirming that the owner will receive his land once completing the required procedures.
