Activists from Kufra city, southeast Libya, have warned travelers to take care of sand drift on Kufra-Jalu road.
The road is being covered with sand due to the vagaries of weather these days, which included stirring winds carrying sand and dust.
Several bloggers posted pictures of roads blanketed in sand, warning that it could cause fatal motor traffic accidents.
A large number of travelers are exposed to traffic accidents in desert roads due to creeping sand and the deteriorating situation of some major roads.
