The Illegal Immigration Agency repatriated 140 illegal migrants from Nigeria via Mitiga Airport in Tripoli on Tuesday.
The head of the Information Office of the Tripoli branch of the Agency, Hosni Abuayaneh, said that the repatriation process was carried out in coordination with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and added that the migrants included a number of children and women.
He pointed out that the number of repatriated illegal migrants from Mitiga Airport since the beginning of 2017has reached 9700.
