According to the manager of the Sreer gas power station, KhairAllah Hadairi, the second unit of the power station entered the public grid.
The unit, with a capacity of 80 MW can be raised to 250 MW on request after the completion of the routine program checks.
Hadairi stressed that the station is now operating with two units, the third being out of order due to the need of spare parts as a result of damage suffered during the period of conflict in the region.
