The head of the Central Committee for the Municipal Councils Elections Salim bin Tahia, said Tuesday that 71 municipalities whose mandate have been expired will hold elections this month.
Bin Tahia pointed out that the committee will receive the budget for the municipal council elections, noting that they will announce the dates of processing the lists of candidates soon.
30 other municipalities will end its mandate in December.
The Central Committee for the Election of Municipal Councils carried out during the past few weeks municipal council elections in the cities of Bani Walid and Daraj.
