The Libyan 5+5 Joint Military Commission (JMC) said the representatives of African Union are ready to coordinate in removing foreign fighters from the states within the continent's bloc from Libyan territory.

The JMC added in a statement following meetings in Tunisia that African Union representatives confirmed that they would ensure that African states would welcome back the fighters to be withdrawn from Libya, saying it had talked to the representatives about the need for continued coordination so the fighters wouldn't return to Libya and destabilize the neighboring states.

The 5+5 JMC stressed, in the meetings in Tunisia with the representatives of African Union, the importance of communication among African Union states and Libya neighboring countries regarding the exist of foreign fighters from Libya.
