Medical sources from Emhammed Al Megareef Educational Hospital in Ajdabiya confirmed that the hospital has received 46 cases of food poisoning; most of them have left the hospital after receiving the necessary treatment.
The sources clarified that the cases arrived at the Emergency and First Aid Department of the hospital on Sunday and were of different ages, pointing out that the poisoning was due to eating rotten food in a restaurant in the city.
The head of the Municipal Police in Ajdabiya, Colonel Hamad Bousdara confirmed in media statements the detention of the manager of the restaurant and the closure of the place.
