The 444 Brigade has thwarted a fuel smuggling operation and arrested 9 armed persons driving two trucks loaded with 60,000 liters of fuel.
This came on the instructions of the Commander of the Tripoli Military District, Major General Abdel Qader Mansour, the Brigade said on its official Facebook page.
The Brigade managed to arrest the smugglers in a well-planned and coordinated ambush in the middle of the desert, without specifying the area in which the operation took place.
