The International Organization for Migration (IOM) said Tuesday that 330 immigrants had been returned to Libya after being intercepted in the Mediterranean from July 27 to August 03.

IOM said that 9225 immigrants had been returned to Libya in 2019, as 992 others went missing and 270 drowned in the Mediterranean.

So far in 2020, 6848 immigrants, including 6010 men and 279 women, were returned to Libya while 115 immigrants have died and 180 have gone missing, IOM added.
