The Italian Navy confirmed the death of 3 migrants and the rescue of 3 others after a boat carrying around 20 migrants sank off the coast of Libya.
"A boat carrying illegal immigrants sank Friday off Tripoli's coast," sources from the Italian Navy said, according to Anadolu news agency.
The wrecked boat was spotted by the Italian Navy who provided the migrants with two rubber boats and managed to rescue the stranded migrants at the last minute.
