The Ministry of Health of the Presidential Council stated that it has allocated 19 million dinars for surgeries at general hospitals and specialized centers, in a bid to improve health services in Libya.
The Minister of Health, Omar Taher, stated that he wrote to the Minister of Finance to issue instructions to the competent departments to liquidate part of the budget to improve medical services, explaining that the correspondence included the introduction of visiting doctors to carry out difficult operations in public hospitals in different disciplines.
