The First Aid and Emergency Service Department confirmed that about 1825 people have been displaced by clashes in the suburbs of southern Tripoli.

The spokesman of the Department Osama Ali clarified Monday that about 30% of the population in the area of clashes refused to leave their homes for fear of theft and looting, warning that many of these families have run out of supplies, and are in urgent need of water and food.

Osama Ali pointed out that 75 families managed to get out of areas of clashes yesterday.

He called on fighting groups for respecting the rules of engagement, stressing that coordination will continue by the Ministry of State for Immigrants and Displaced Persons with the concerned authorities in the government and outside.
