Senior officer in the Coast Security in Tobruk, Abdel Salam Shehata, has revealed in a press statement that they were able to recover the body of one of the sailors of the Egyptian trawler that was lost a few days ago on the shores of Ras El Tin, about 50 km east of the city of Derna. 

Shehata confirmed that the body recovered was transferred directly to the morgue of Tobruk Medical Centre, noting that the Public Prosecutor's office of Tobruk was informed and in the presence of the forensic doctor at the Centre, in order to carry out the necessary procedures on the matter.

A few days ago, an Egyptian trawler sank in Ras al-Tin area east of Derna with 15 Egyptian sailors aboard; five of them were rescued, while the fate of the other 10 remained unknown.
