The Illegal Immigrants Agency in Zuwara, western Libya, has repatriated 141 voluntary migrants to Gambia on Monday.

A source from agency said the illegal immigrants were repatriated on two planes from Zuwara Airport to Misrata International Airport and then to the Gambian capital Banjul.

The source added that the first plane took off carrying 71 migrants, while the second took off carrying 70 migrants.

The International Organization for Migration last week repatriated 140 illegal immigrants voluntarily to Guinea through Misrata International Airport.
