The Information Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the competent authorities had repatriated 139 illegal immigrants from the Republic of Togo to their country.
It confirmed that the repatriation process came after a meeting of the Togolese Ambassador to Libya with officials of the African Department of the Libyan Foreign Ministry.
The Information Office noted that the Togolese Ambassador requested assistance from the Libyan Foreign Ministry in the repatriation process. Instructions were issued by Foreign Minister Mohamed Sayala to provide full support and facilitate the repatriation of migrants to their country.
