The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) announced the arrival of 130 refugees and asylum seekers to Rwanda from Libya.

The UNHCR, in a video published by its branch in Rwanda on Facebook, reported that the refugees arrived there safely, having been evacuated from Libya by air, noting that they all arrived in good health.

The UNHCR previously announced the resumption of evacuation flights for refugees and asylum seekers from Libya to Rwanda, having been laid off for more than 10 months due to restrictive measures taken to combat the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic.
