The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has confirmed that 1,216 migrants have been disembarked back on Libyan shores to the ports of Tripoli, Al-Zawiya, Al-Mayah, Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar and Benghazi, in the period of August 21 - 27, 2022.

In 2021, 32,425 migrants were disembarked on Libyan shores, while about 14,157 migrants were disembarked so far in 2022, the IOM said in its weekly report.
