117,600 doses of Oxford AstraZeneca Coronavirus vaccine arrived in Libya

The Director of the Information Office at the Drug and Food Control Center, Mohamed Al-Zayat, reported the delivery of a shipment of the Oxford AstraZeneca anti-Coronavirus vaccine, estimated at approximately 117,600 doses.

Al-Zayat said in a press statement that the shipment, which arrived via Italy, was provided by the World Health Organization (WHO), within the framework of the COVAX initiative.

He explained that the inspectors of the Drug and Food Control Center inspected the shipment on Wednesday to ensure its temperature.
