Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has said that steps taken by Turkey in Libya had struck an appropriate balance.

Çavuşoğlu told Anadolu News Agency Tuesday "The strides we have made have achieved a balance that led to a ceasefire and will pave the way for an upcoming political phase."

"We have made the whole world accepts this," he added.

The Turkish minister emphasized Turkey's important role in Libya, noting that there is no meeting held on Libya without Turkey's presence.
