The World Health Organization (WHO) said on its Facebook page on Saturday that it had deployed four specialized medical teams to Bani Walid, Tarhouna, Ajdabiya and Al-Keesh in Benghazi.

WHO indicated that the step is aimed to respond to the emergency health needs of Tawarghans and other displaced families.

"Supported by USAID - US Agency for International Development, the medical teams with different specialties provide integrated primary health care services with referral support." WHO explained.

According to WHO, each medical team consists of an internal medicine, a pediatrician, a gynecologist, a dermatologist and a general physician.

Earlier, WHO also sent a medical team of two doctors to help treat leishmania outbreak in Tawergha.

UNSMIL said at the time that WHO's team will be treating 200 patients in Tawergha.
