The World Health Organization (WHO), in cooperation with France, provided Sunday medical supplies and medicines to southern Libya, enough to treat about 50,000 patients.
On its Facebook page, the WHO clarified that the medical supplies will cover the needs of the primary and health care for chronic diseases for three months in hospitals in the south.
The step comes after the meeting held between the French Ambassador to Libya, Brigitte Crumi, and head of the WHO mission in Libya, along with the Libyan Health Minister, Omar Bashir, in which they discussed the health situation in Libya and the priorities of the ministry for the months and years to come.
