The National Center for Disease Control said that more than 90 people have been hospitalized for food poisoning in southern Benghazi.

"Abyar Hospital has received more than 90 cases of food poisoning, including children, women, and men," the centre confirmed.

The supervisor of the monitoring unit in the National Center for Disease Control of Abyar branch, Ali Abuhdma explained that the patients began experiencing symptoms of poisoning after ordering from a restaurant in the city.

The Monitoring Department of the National Center for Disease Control has closely followed the poisoning cases and took samples from the patients infected, for laboratory analysis, according to the monitoring department's head, Muhammed Al-Faqih, confirming that all cases have left the hospital after receiving the necessary treatment.
