The National Team charged with preparing a survey on the "Migration Impact on Public Health in Immigrant Shelter Centres" recommended the establishment of a Centre for tropical diseases to provide a wide spectrum service to the health needs of migrants and the community.

The panel also recommended that there should be a responsible addressing to the phenomenon of migration and migrants, including a review of the policies and procedures regarding the labour and economic matter, in addition to other administrative procedures.

They also stressed the need to develop and apply an appropriate criterion for shelters and to provide financial resources from appropriate domestic and external sources for their implementation.

Through recommendations, the panel emphasized the importance of building a national consensus on legal, international, humanitarian and religious requirements, noting that real long-term solutions require comprehensive community and economic development, as well as political stability.
