The Libyan National Center for Disease Control has registered 13 new Coronavirus cases, increasing the total number to 48 across the country.

The center said the Reference Laboratory in Tripoli had received 62 new samples, 13 of which tested positive - people with contact with previous positive COVID-19 patients - and 49 others tested negative.

The center also recorded two new recovered patients - among the 49 negative ones - so the number of recoveries became 11.

The center received 10.000 devices used to do PCR tests coming from Belgium via Misrata Airport, according to the Libyan Health Ministry.

The Libyan Government of National Accord will impose a total curfew in the country starting Friday for ten days, leaving out shops and bakeries open from 7.00 am to 12.00 pm, saying people are allowed to move around on foot during these hours.
