The Libyan National Center for Disease Control said it had registered 62 new Coronavirus cases on Monday, which is the highest daily number since the first case in March.

The Libyan National Center for Disease Control also said that four cases had recovered, adding that it had tested 887 samples in laboratories in Tripoli, Benghazi, Misrata and Sabha.

"825 cases tested negative, four of which recovered, while 62 tested positive - 34 ones for people who contacted COVID-19 patients, 14 new ones, 9 from Sabha, and five from abroad." The center said.

Now Libya has a total of 332 cases, 270 of which are active and 57 recovered patients as well as five deaths.
