The Foreign Minister, Najla Al-Manqoush has praised Ankara's swift response to the call addressed to it to identify the needs of the health sector in Libya.

This came during her meeting with a delegation of officials, doctors and specialists in the Turkish health sector.

Al-Manqoush praised Turkey's assistance to Libya in the health sector, especially with regard to the measures taken to confront the Coronavirus and the necessary and urgent needs to limit its spread.

For his part, the Turkish ambassador to Libya, Kenan Yilmaz, affirmed his country's readiness to meet all the requirements needed by hospitals, health centers and isolation centers concerned with confronting the Coronavirus.

He also pointed out that the Turkish delegation will submit a full report to the Libyan Foreign Ministry, on the needs required for these health facilities, after the completion of its visit.
